Wichita Airport offers flights by seven reputable airlines. The terminal serves many locations, including Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles, Orlando, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Las Vegas, Destin, Phoenix, and St. Louis.

Expect a busier airport when you arrive at ICT, especially if your flight is in August, which is the busiest travel month.

To pass through security, you must present a valid national ID card or passport at the Wichita Airport. Passengers must only present government-issued identification if they are 18 or older.

The exit plaza for all of the terminal parking has five lanes, including three lanes for cashiers and two lanes for credit/debit card traffic.

Vehicles may only temporarily park at the terminal curb when active loading and unloading occur.

There are ADA-accessible parking spaces on all levels 2-4 of the parking garage closest to the stairwells/elevators and all surface lots. By regional regulations, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and in some cases even further, all parking lots provide sidewalks or pedestrian walkways that lead to the terminal.

Shops are only present in the concourse area of the airport terminal. You can buy souvenirs, toys, cosmetics, and other items at the CNBC Smart Shop, CNBC News Express, and Air Capital Market stores to bring on your flight.

Smoking at Wichita Airport

Only particular locations outside Wichita Airport are allowed to smoke. To smoke outside the terminal and re-enter the country for a connecting flight, you must first enter the United States.

Pet Relief at Wichita Airport

Two locations in the terminal are set aside for pets and service animals. Pets traveling with their owners and service animals are welcome in these areas.

The first is a pre-security, enclosed outdoor space on the first floor. Animal-friendly travelers may enter it from the sidewalk in front of the terminal or depart through the double doors that are situated past the baggage claim carousels.

There is another private area with self-draining turf across from Gate 1.

Please be aware that dogs and cats cannot be left unattended inside the terminal.
